Provide leadership and positive influence on various Programs
Identify projects’ scope, timelines and resources
Determine and propose solutions, deliver the products and services as agreed
Responsible for the Profit and Loss (P&L) of various programs
Manage cost, schedule and technical performance of the Program
Participate in negotiation of Contract and Contract changes
Coordinate preparation of proposals, Statement of Work (SOW) and specifications
Identify any shortfalls in resources or skill sets
Responsible for performance of projects in terms of costs, quality, and schedule
Identify new business opportunities with the client
Direct management personnel and specialized professionals
Chair and facilitate various meetings to review progress of work

Requirements

10+ years of experience in the Defense Industry
5+ years in Program Management or related fields
University degree in Business Administration, Engineering or other relevant fields
Personnel management experience is required
Excellent written and oral communication skills in English, with French as an asset
Deep knowledge of Program management best practices
Experience in Earned Value Reporting, with PMP Certification as an asset
Demonstrated ability to think strategically
Strong analytical, organizational and change management skills
Team building / Communication skills including effective writing, briefing and ability to motivate
Consensus building, issue resolution/problem solving skills, conflict resolution, facilitation and negotiation skills
Pro-active, demonstrates enthusiasm, initiative and a strong leadership
Demonstrates good planning, organizational, analytical, monitoring and decision making skills
Dedication, commitment and judgment
Must be eligible for registration with the Controlled Goods Program
Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a government of Canada Reliability status and Secret Level 2/NATO Secret security clearance
Must be eligible to meet the requirements for U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
