About the role
- Manage EHS&F, Quality, Production and Manufacturing Engineering
- Collaborate with other functional leads within Materials, Engineering and Program Management
- Develop and implement management policies, controls, and operating procedures for all planning
- Supervise direct reports and provide work assignments
- Lead functions in a matrix environment to drive performance
- Prepare reports and records of departmental activities for management
- Appraise employee performance and recommend wage and salary increases, promotions, employment, discipline, and terminations
- Drive site-wide process improvement
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 9 years prior related experience
- Graduate Degree with a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience
- In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related experience
- Experience interfacing and leading Materials, Production Control and Planning, Manufacturing, Quality, Administrative, and management personnel
- Experience with lean manufacturing implementation
- Proficient in use of personal computers with the ability to use MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and Project
- Outstanding personnel management skills
- Excellent written and oral communications skills
- Self-motivator with the ability to motivate others
- Good interpersonal skills
- Must be a self-starter and capable of demonstrating initiative to identify and solve traditional production problems
