About the role
- Analyze quotations and proposals using various price and cost analysis techniques to determine price reasonableness and compliance (FAR 15.4)
- Develop negotiation strategies and lead formal negotiations for price, delivery, scope, and terms and conditions
- Lead and manage analysts, ensuring high performance and alignment with program requirements
- Develop and maintain strategic relationships with COE’s and stakeholders
- Drive process improvement initiatives with a focus on quality, delivery, cost, efficiency, and innovation
- Proactively address and mitigate risks to ensure program success
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and company policies and procedures
- Participate in negotiations as necessary to support the business and evaluate PCA effectiveness
- Monitor team performance through key metrics and implement corrective actions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 9 years prior related supply chain experience
- Graduate Degree with a minimum of 7 years of prior related supply chain experience
- In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related supply chain experience
- Knowledge of FAR/DFARS and the ability to assess proposal compliance
- Experience with various subcontract types (Firm Fixed Price, Cost Reimbursable, Time & Material)
- Graduate Degree preferred
- Experience working with statistics, finance, manufacturing, and supply chain dynamics
- Understanding of government contracting and price Cost Analysis
- Experience in leading, encouraging, reviewing and critiquing work of supporting team members to maximize program success.
