About the role

  • Manage large, complex project initiatives of substantial importance to the organization with minimal oversight or direction
  • Monitor program performance, manage the program’s schedule and milestones
  • Provide guidance to the program’s integrated product teams (IPTs)
  • Coordinate with functional offices to ensure program compliance and to enable program support
  • Lead program proposal efforts
  • Manage reporting requirements
  • Demonstrate strong team building, leadership, and communication skills
  • Support the program’s Earned Value Management (EVM) approach, monitor the program’s budget, and support the completion of financial analysis, projections, and reports
  • Manage the program's risks and opportunities and lead the program’s change management processes
  • Coordinate with other programs/offices to resolve dependencies/reduce program risks
  • Inform L3Harris leaders and Government stakeholders of the program’s status and related issues

Requirements

  • Active Top Secret Security Clearance
  • Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 12 years of prior relevant experience; Or, Graduate Degree and a minimum of 10 years of prior related experience; Or, in lieu of a degree, a minimum of 16 years of prior related experience
  • Ability to communicate within and outside of the organization to explain and influence changes to practices, processes, and approaches
  • Ability to make significant improvements in processes, systems, or products
  • Ability to provide input into new products/processes and implement operational plans that have measurable impact on business or functional results
  • Availability for travel in support of program activities (up to 20% of the time)
  • Active Top Secret/SCI Clearance
  • Experience managing programs with DoD or Intelligence Community Organizations
  • Experience in managing agile ceremonies
  • Deep Knowledge of Earned Value Management
