About the role
- Design and manage external custom application development, including L3Harris.com
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions and align with strategic objectives
- Oversee architecture design and ensure scalable, secure, maintainable solutions
- Select technologies, frameworks, platforms, and cloud services
- Create and maintain technical documentation and implementation plans
- Provide technical guidance to development teams and ensure integration with existing systems
- Identify and mitigate technical risks and ensure compliance with security and architectural guidelines
- Collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery
- Evaluate emerging technologies and maintain portfolio of external custom applications
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience
- Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience
- In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related experience
- 5+ years of experience in IT custom application development
- Experience leading teams of developers and managing IT projects
- Problem-solving and analytical skills
- Communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to align technical solutions with business goals
- Project Management and organizational skills
- Experience with Agile development methodologies or DevOps practices
- Understanding of architectural principles and frameworks
- Proficiency in designing technology solutions and various development tools
- Experience in a technology or IT services leadership role
- Familiar with Microsoft .Net technologies
- Familiar with database design
- Experience with Azure GCC High Cloud development
