About the role
- Design, configure, and implement SAP CPI (Cloud Platform Integration) to integrate various cloud and on-premise systems.
- Develop and configure integration flows (iFlows) to integrate SAP with external systems like third-party applications, legacy systems, and non-SAP solutions.
- Work with EDI protocols and standards (e.g., EDIFACT, X12) to implement EDI integrations within the SAP CPI environment.
- Lead integration initiatives from concept through to execution and delivery, ensuring alignment with business needs and objectives.
- Define integration architecture, best practices, and standard operating procedures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Provide ongoing support and maintenance for SAP CPI solutions, addressing performance issues and errors.
- Perform root-cause analysis and troubleshooting of integration failures, resolving issues in a timely manner.
- Monitor and ensure the stability, performance, and scalability of the SAP CPI platform.
- Identify and recommend improvements to the integration architecture and processes.
- Stay updated with the latest developments in SAP Cloud Integration tools and technologies, integrating new functionalities as needed.
- Maintain detailed documentation of integration processes, workflows, and configurations.
- Ensure compliance with organizational standards for documentation and change management processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field.
- Minimum 10 years of experience with SAP integrations area and at least 4 years of extensive hands-on experience with SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI) / SAP Integration Suite, including iFlow design, integration scenarios, mapping, and monitoring.
- Experience with Integration Advisor for EDI mapping and B2B Trading Partner management.
- Familiarity with onboarding for new customers & vendors.
- Expertise on implementing EDI transactions(850/855/856/860/810/etc.) using CPI.
- Knowledge on troubleshooting IDocs in SAP systems.
- Proficiency in integration technologies such as SOAP, REST, IDoc, SFTP, HTTP, and OData.
- Knowledge and previous experience with SAP API Management, XML, XSLT, Java, and Groovy scripting.
- Ability to manage security artifacts, ensure the encryption and decryption of sensitive data, and handle SSH keys for secure communication between systems.
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA integration is highly preferred.
- Previous experience with integration of SAP SuccessFactors, SAP Digital Manufacturing Cloud would be preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in English is required.
