About the role
- Ensure smooth execution of day-to-day operations in the intermodal transport sector
- Responsible for the efficient and timely truck dispatching from our intermodal hubs in Germany
- Serve as a point of contact for customers, partners and transport companies in daily operations
- Monitor and control transport processes — economical, reliable and service-oriented
- Conduct load procurement and sales to optimize vehicle utilization
- Work closely and coordinate with train planning, transport management and other internal interfaces
Requirements
- Several years of experience in truck dispatching
- Completed vocational training in the logistics field (e.g., Freight Forwarding and Logistics Services Clerk) or further qualification (e.g., Dispatcher) is desirable
- Good German and/or English proficiency, both written and spoken
- Strong organizational skills and a solution-oriented mindset to manage transport processes efficiently under time pressure
- Reliable and flexible working style to respond confidently to short-term changes in daily operations
- Team-oriented communication for close and smooth collaboration with customers, partners and internal stakeholders
