About the role
- Responsible for managing and controlling IT infrastructure related projects using project management methods, tools and systems
- Delivering on commitments to meet customer expectation and maintaining customer relationships
- Communicating and articulating Kyndryl’s unique value to support both clients’ and Kyndryl’s business growth
- Managing internal project resources and subcontractors
- Managing project scope, cost and EAC financial healthiness, schedule, and contractual deliverables, including planning, tracking, change control, and risk management
- Constructing detailed project plans, managing teams, and leading meetings, status calls, planning and cadence meetings
- Analyzing and mitigating risks, managing finances, ensuring team has the right skills, planning and delegating activity to hit deadlines and deliver on SLAs
- Acting as single point of contact to the customer and bridge to other teams; embedding with customers at their location when required
- Participating in a multicultural, often multilingual environment and forging relationships to support delivery
Requirements
- PMI PMP certification or SCRUM certification
- Basic IT knowledge (Architectural)
- MS Project or other Project Management software
- Hybrid Cloud knowledge and work experiences (preferred)
- Docker and Containerization knowledge and work experiences (preferred)
- Application development knowledge and work experiences (preferred)
- Network communication knowledge and work experiences (preferred)
- Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery knowledge and work experiences (preferred)
- Architect or Consultant related work experiences (preferred)
- At least 5 years’ client facing experience
- At least 5 years’ project management experiences
- At least 5 years’ IT industry experiences
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to interact confidently with stakeholders of all levels
- Organization and planning skills
- Teamwork with “one team” philosophy
