About the role

  • The Customer Partner and Federal Unit Leader has end-to-end responsibility for relationship management, account growth and profitability.
  • Creates, maintains, and develops deep customer relationships and bring 'the best of Kyndryl' to credibly build and maintain valued customer relationships at the highest level.
  • Drives proactive account growth with focus on selling new offerings and minimizing erosion in renewals.
  • Responsible for unit financial targets - volume signings and revenue targets.
  • This role will also be responsible for driving cost management and standardization of delivery services.
  • Customer Success, Commercial Success, Distinctive Expertise and Focus on People: Responsible to drive profitable growth leading with a consultative approach and Kyndryl Consult.
  • Responsible for lead generation through to closure, driving new scope and value, and minimizing erosion in our ongoing business and renewals
  • Deliver on budget, owning revenue, profit/loss, and growth objectives
  • Ensure account profitability, leading operating margin improvement of existing business while generating profitable growth.
  • Increases utilization and billability of resources assigned to their account
  • Generate opportunities, drives through to closure and expands existing work into larger scope and new capabilities; build a GTM pipeline with partners to jointly pursue and win deals
  • Demonstrate distinctive expertise. Build deep market expertise and apply that expertise to help Federal customers realize value
  • Own account P&L, drives customer satisfaction, and ensures account compliance by acting with integrity
  • Drive standardization of delivery for Honda account globally and global cost management oversight
  • Invest in the development of the people on the account and across Kyndryl to develop the next generation of talent
  • Act as a steward of the Kyndryl culture

Requirements

  • 5+ years experience running account P&L
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Deep Federal and public sector expertise
  • Deep knowledge of business and technology trends and industry/market best practices
  • 5+ years of experience managing sales process end-to-end
  • Proven experience with revenue growth, cost, profitability, trends, and risks
  • Open minded and empathetic approach in relationships with customers
  • Master’s degree (preferred)
  • Sales experience in technical solutions (preferred)
