About the role
- Responsible for all technical, solution, and competitive aspects of the Kustomer sales cycle
- Serve as the technical bridge between AEs and prospects; take ownership of the prime technical relationship
- Work closely with Sales teams, peers, and product management to deliver appropriate solutions and establish credibility
- Evangelize Kustomer platform value to customers, including business & IT executives
- Conduct business requirements assessments and deliver findings, including pain points, proposed solutions, and ROI
- Develop technical sales strategy
- Configure and demonstrate tailored solutions that reflect each customer's business
- Map RFI/RFP requirements to software solutions
- Scope, manage and execute customer pilots and Proof of Concepts
- Influence new product development through solution scoping
- Deliver technical information onsite, online, and via telephone; may require travel (30-50%)
Requirements
- 8+ years of Mid Market/Enterprise software selling experience
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, persuasion, presentation, and writing skills
- CRM, Contact Center or Customer Service Experience is highly desired
- Knowledge in web / scripting technologies, HTML, CSS, JavaScript and SaaS applications
- Outstanding problem solving skills, including the ability to meet a business requirement with a technical solution
- Must be willing to work in a fast-paced startup environment with multiple responsibilities
- Bachelor's degree or relevant professional experience
- May include traveling for 30 to 50 percent of the time
- May involve handling sensitive personal data (HIPAA Compliance)
