Compliance

• Own and shape the entire compliance and regulatory strategy for embedded finance and invoice finance credit products.
• Build tailored, fit-for-purpose strategies for KYC, AML, transaction monitoring, and regulatory engagement.
• Report directly to the Head of Risk as the key subject matter expert; ensure products scale safely and align with regulatory expectations and risk appetite.
• Architect, implement, and own the end-to-end Compliance & Financial Crime Framework for the digital lending product suite.
• Design and deploy risk-based approaches to customer due diligence (CDD/KYC), sanctions screening, and transaction monitoring.
• Act as the primary compliance authority for the product team, advising on regulatory requirements and risk mitigation for new features and market expansions.
• Oversee day-to-day compliance operations for the product division to meet regulator and group standards.
• Conduct product-specific compliance risk assessments and lead remediation initiatives.
• Manage the compliance monitoring programme and ensure documentation is audit-ready.
• Serve as the bridge between the product team and the bank's central compliance function, managing alignment and regulatory variations.
• Foster compliance awareness within the product division through training and engagement.
• Act as a key point of contact for regulatory bodies on matters pertaining to the product suite.
