About the role
- Continue building Kraken’s Market Gateway product for global clients and territories
- Design and develop new features for the Market Gateway
- Interact with other teams that use the Market Gateway to solve problems
- Keep the lights on: respond to incidents, triage bugs, code fixes, deploy and monitor continuously
- Work closely with the Market Gateway Tech Lead and Product Manager
- Write, respond to, and implement technical proposals
- Read and write documentation for Market Gateway
Requirements
- Senior Software Engineer level (senior or above)
- General interest in technology and problem-solving; diligent and thoughtful
- Scala, using an effect system like Cats Effect
- Domain modelling
- HTTP and REST APIs
- Writing robust, fault-tolerant and observable software
- Apache Kafka and event based architecture
- Postgres or other relational databases
- Kubernetes
- Python
- (Bonus) Terraform / OpenTofu
- (Bonus) CircleCI
