Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance for the Windows sensor team (Falcon Prevent)
Drive technical strategy and build technology roadmaps
Mentor engineers and ensure successful project delivery
Define and enforce architecture reviews, design patterns, and engineering best practices
Lead performance optimization, scalability improvements, and technical debt reduction
Troubleshoot complex technical challenges and champion projects to improve reliability and development velocity
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive technical innovation and cross-platform architectural improvements
Stay current with industry trends and security threats in the Windows ecosystem
Contribute to keeping the Windows sensor as an advanced and reliable endpoint security solution
Requirements
BS in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience
At least 6 years focused on systems programming
Extensive software development experience
Deep expertise in Windows OS internals, kernel development, and security architecture
Advanced knowledge of C/C++ programming and modern C++ practices
Strong understanding of software architecture patterns and resilient software development, including client/data/cloud architecture
Experience with real-time security monitoring and threat detection systems
Technical leadership experience with mentoring and influencing engineering teams
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to periodically undergo and pass additional background and fingerprint checks (government customer requirements)
Bonus: experience with Linux kernel development or eBPF; macOS internals; cross-platform development; malware analysis; open-source contributions; remote team experience
