About the role

Develop software for Atrius Energy and Sustainability Applications as a Senior Full Stack Engineer.
Focus on backend development and integration engineering connecting to third-party systems.
Contribute to basic UI efforts as needed (React).
Build backend systems and deploy operating solutions on Azure.
Apply technical system design and software engineering skills to customer-facing products and services.
Work with a broad array of technology and business experts to impact customers' sustainability and business intelligence initiatives.
Provide leadership and mentorship to other engineers.

A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Technology, Information Systems, or a related field is required.
5+ years of software development experience, including 4+ years specific to backend development.
Strong proficiency in Python.
Experience developing applications and deploying operating solutions on Microsoft's Azure cloud platform.
Strong leadership and mentorship skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrated understanding of web development principles, including accessibility, security, and performance optimization.
Experience with CI / CD pipelines, tools, and frameworks.
Experience with HTTP/S, Networking, APIs, and JSON data structures.
Experience with Test Driven Development (TDD) and writing unit tests.
Ability to learn on the job and explore modern technologies with little supervision.
Preferred: Experience with Django.
Preferred: Experience with RESTful APIs, including high-performance client implementations.
Preferred: Experience with .NET.
Preferred: Good knowledge of scripting languages.
Preferred: Experience working with IoT networks.
