About the role

  • Project manage the overall delivery of global and large UK tax and accounting compliance and reporting managed service projects
  • Manage implementation of managed service and transformation solutions
  • Support implementation of technology solutions for managed service delivery
  • Act as the central point of contact for international clients and KPMG teams
  • Manage the tax business development process to progress leads to sales
  • Manage tax & statutory transformation projects
  • Develop tax service offerings and delivery models
  • Establish and maintain strong client relationships
  • Line manage assistant managers and trainees

Requirements

  • Strong tax and/or accounting compliance and reporting expertise
  • Strong VAT compliance and/or VAT process management expertise
  • Strong transfer pricing compliance and/or transfer pricing advisory expertise
  • Engagement management
  • Tax governance and controls expertise
  • Transformation, transition and project management skills
  • Client relationship management
  • Developing standardised methodologies
  • Tax compliance process improvement/redesign expertise
  • Advising on appropriate technology to support compliance and reporting processes
  • Experience with tax compliance processes (e.g. Direct/Indirect tax returns, statutory accounting)
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with strong oral and written communication skills
  • Awareness of technology and automation to drive efficiency, risk management and value
  • A relevant qualification such as ATT/CTA/ACA or equivalent qualifications
