About the role
- Responsible for designing and overseeing end-to-end SAP S/4HANA solutions that integrate critical business processes across Supply Chain and Finance.
- Collaborating with business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into scalable, robust, and compliant SAP solutions.
- Drive the adoption of S/4HANA capabilities, minimize customizations, and ensure alignment with SAP best practices.
- Lead functional and technical solution design for SAP S/4HANA implementations, focusing on integration points and dependencies between Supply Chain and Finance.
- Conduct comprehensive fit-to-standard analysis and requirements gathering workshops with business stakeholders.
- Define and maintain overall SAP solution architecture, ensuring alignment with enterprise goals and SAP's roadmap.
- Design end-to-end processes for key business cycles ensuring seamless data flow and integration between modules.
- Provide expert guidance on leveraging SAP S/4HANA innovations, embedded analytics, and intelligent technologies to optimize processes.
- Oversee integration strategies between SAP S/4HANA and non-SAP systems.
Requirements
- Deep functional expertise in SAP S/4HANA across multiple Supply Chain modules and Finance modules.
- Proven experience in designing and implementing integrated end-to-end processes that span Supply Chain and Finance, such as inventory valuation, cost element structures, product costing, and intercompany transactions.
- Strong understanding of SAP S/4HANA capabilities, innovations (e.g., Universal Journal, Embedded Analytics), and best practices for both Public and Private Cloud deployments, as well as on-premise considerations.
- Expertise in SAP Activate Methodology and leading fit-to-standard workshops to drive adoption of standard SAP processes.
- Familiarity with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) for extensibility, integration, and leveraging intelligent technologies within S/4HANA.
- Knowledge of integration patterns and technologies (e.g., OData, APIs, CPI) for connecting S/4HANA with other SAP and non-SAP systems.
- Extensive SAP ERP experience, with significant experience in a SAP Solution Architect on S/4HANA, specifically with cross-module integration expertise in Supply Chain and Finance.
- Completed at least 2-3 full lifecycle S/4HANA implementations (greenfield or brownfield) across various deployment models (on-premise, private cloud, public cloud).
- Proven track record in leading the design and delivery of complex SAP solutions, balancing design quality, project practicality, and business outcomes.
- Experience in leading customer workshops, defining functional business requirements, and creating detailed functional specifications and architectural blueprints.
- Ability to engage with CXO-level stakeholders and translate technical details into business language and value-driven solutions.
- Experience in guiding, mentoring, and overseeing delivery teams (onshore and offshore) to ensure high-quality solution delivery.
