About the role

  • Work on and lead HR due diligence and related people-focused deal projects
  • Help coach junior team members
  • Contribute to the growth of HR due diligence capability
  • Contribute to and lead delivery of HR due diligence and vendor due diligence reports
  • Support clients in identifying people-related cost levers and value creation opportunities
  • Act as a key point of contact for client stakeholders across specific areas of the engagement
  • Manage small to medium-sized teams and/or workstreams
  • Coordinate input from reward, legal and other SME teams

Requirements

  • Experience working in HR due diligence, people-related M&A, or a comparable advisory or in-house transaction role
  • A strong understanding of people-related risks and issues in deals – including pensions and reward implications, HR policies, organisational structure and TUPE
  • Ability to assess complex qualitative and quantitative data, distil key risks and opportunities, and formulate recommendations for clients as part of a formal report or discursive sessions
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience developing and delivering client-ready reports and presentations
  • Proven ability to manage workstreams, delegate effectively and lead junior team members to deliver high-quality work
  • Broader experience in integration, separation or transformational change is welcomed but not essential.
