About the role
- Oversee daily transaction recording and maintain accurate financial records including general ledger, accounts payable, and bank entries
- Perform account reconciliations and support month-end and year-end close activities
- Assist in preparing financial statements, reports, and analysis to support decision making
- Review and process employee expense reports and ensure compliance with company policies
- Process invoices, verify expenses, prepare payments, and manage vendor relationships
- Assist Controller with preparation of US budget files by department and analyze department spending
- Support annual financial audits by providing documentation and collaborating with audit team
- Identify process improvement opportunities to streamline accounting workflows
- Assist Controller with preparation and submission of tax filings to ensure compliance
- Support ad hoc finance projects as directed by the Financial Controller
Requirements
- 2–3 years of professional accounting experience
- Bachelor’s degree required; degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
- Solid knowledge of accounting principles (IFRS)
- Proficiency with Excel/Google Sheets formulas (e.g., XLOOKUP)
- CPA or CPA candidate preferred
