- Drive Federal expansion by developing and executing a Federal go-to-market strategy
- Own the full sales cycle from opportunity identification to closing
- Engage with ecosystem partners to accelerate deal velocity
- Build trusted relationships with executive and program-level contacts
- Collaborate with internal teams for seamless customer experiences
- Conduct strategic account planning and pipeline management
- Stay informed on Federal IT initiatives and represent Kong Federal at events
Requirements
- 7+ years of enterprise sales experience within the U.S. Federal market
- Proficiency in Federal acquisition and procurement processes
- Strong consultative sales skills
- Experience selling to senior executives
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Experience working with CRM tools (Salesforce preferred)
- Knowledge of open source, API, infrastructure, or cybersecurity technologies
