About the role
- Design, maintain and analyze KONE information systems for users and business needs
- Central management of Linux workstations ensuring security and performance
- Collaborate with R&D teams to tailor Linux solutions for development and testing
- Support Apple Mac workstations ensuring updates and security
- Develop standardized configurations and security protocols for Linux and macOS environments
- Design and deploy centralized management tools for Linux systems
- Manage lifecycle including patch management and troubleshooting of workstations
- Act as a point of escalation for workstation issues providing timely resolutions
Requirements
- 6 to 10+ years of hands-on experience with Linux workstation management in a corporate or R&D setting
- Expertise in Linux distributions (e.g., Ubuntu, CentOS, RHEL)
- Strong proficiency in scripting and configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Bash, Python)
- Familiarity with mobile device management (MDM) solutions for Mac devices
- Experience with R&D workflows and designing solutions for research and development purposes
- Familiarity with automation tools for efficient deployment and management
- Proven experience in designing centralized management solutions for Linux environments
