Technical Writer

• Create, update, and maintain technical documentation—including user guides, configuration manuals, API references, and in-app help—tailored for Salesforce users and administrators.
• Collaborate closely with Salesforce engineers, business analysts, and product managers to translate complex configuration requirements and workflows into clear, accessible documentation.
• Develop and document best practices, process flows, customizations, and integration procedures for Salesforce configuration and deployment.
• Participate in system design and deployment meetings to gather firsthand insights on Salesforce enhancements, ensuring documentation is accurate and aligned with platform updates.
• Ensure technical documentation adheres to industry standards, supports regulatory compliance, and provides role-based instructional content to empower end users and administrators.
• Engage with software developers and product managers to document new and enhanced features and capabilities built on the Salesforce platform.
• Obtain a working knowledge of products and Salesforce with goal of becoming Salesforce Platform App Builder certified.
• Use Jira to track work and CMS tool (Paligo) to author content.
• Document Salesforce configuration steps for various products and author REST API documentation to enable external developers to integrate solutions.
• Attend sprint planning and daily standups to review and interact with product teams.
• Report regular status of assigned tasks and provide feedback on process improvements, style guide, and help site enhancements.
