Create, update, and maintain technical documentation including user guides, configuration manuals, API references, and in-app help tailored for Salesforce users and administrators
Collaborate with Salesforce engineers, business analysts, and product managers to translate complex configuration requirements and workflows into clear documentation
Develop and document best practices, process flows, customizations, and integration procedures for Salesforce configuration and deployment
Participate in system design and deployment meetings and attend sprint planning and daily standups to gather insights
Use Jira to track work and author content in the CMS tool (Paligo)
Document Salesforce configuration steps and author REST API documentation to enable external developer integration
Report status of assigned tasks and provide feedback on process improvements, style guide, and help site enhancements
Report to the Technical Writing Manager and execute tasks according to product, regulatory, and industry requirements
Requirements
Experience making challenging, complex ideas, concepts, and tasks understandable and appealing to diverse audiences
Prior experience writing technical documentation with demonstrated subject-matter understanding
Familiarity with Salesforce development and configuration
Experience working with a content management system (e.g., Paligo) and Jira
General knowledge of REST API and OpenAPI Specification
Enthusiasm for learning new tools and technologies and independently researching complex ideas
Experience working in a team and strong communication skills; ability to work independently and prioritize time
Ability to adapt to shifting workloads, requirements, and priorities
Expectation to use AI tools to assist documentation creation and ensure oversight and accuracy
