Accounting Manager

• ensure the company's revenue is recognized accurately and on time, strictly following ASC 606 standards

• perform reviews of customer arrangements to evaluate and document revenue accounting treatment according to ASC 606
• execute month-end close procedures, including preparing revenue-related journal entries, reconciliations, and fluctuation analyses
• partner with Sales Operations and Deal Desk to ensure contract terms are clearly understood and correctly set up in our billing and revenue systems
• assist in documenting Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and identifying manual workflows that can be streamlined through automation
• assist in the preparation of revenue-related financial statement disclosures and support the annual assessment of Standalone Selling Price (SSP)

Senior Revenue Accounting Analyst

Events

• Own and manage Komodo's conference and event calendar, evaluating sponsorship and participation opportunities across healthcare and life sciences.
• Partner with product marketing, sales, and revenue marketing to align event selection, objectives, and success metrics to business goals.
• Write clear event briefs that define the target audience, the goals, how we plan to show up, and how we'll measure success.
• Manage the events budget carefully, make smart tradeoffs, and bring clear investment recommendations to leadership.
• Lead end-to-end execution of Komodo's presence at trade shows, company-hosted field events, and Komodo Summit—from initial concept through post-event close.
• Design the attendee experience across every touchpoint: booth and environment, on-site activations, branded moments, executive dinners, and entertainment.
• Own all logistics: venue sourcing and contracting, hotel room blocks, BEOs, F&B, AV production, floor plans, transportation, and on-site staffing.
• Serve as the primary on-site lead and vendor point of contact—keep things running smoothly and solve problems quickly when they arise.
• Partner with revenue marketing to make sure events are well-promoted and that attendee lists, follow-up cadences, and pipeline capture are tightly coordinated.
• Work with product marketing to bring key messages and content into event experiences.
• Manage vendor and agency relationships—production companies, AV partners, venues, hotels, and caterers—so quality, timelines, and contracts are always in good order.
• Define and track KPIs across the portfolio: attendance, pipeline created and influenced, cost per attendee, and attendee satisfaction.
• Deliver post-event reports that give the team clear visibility into event ROI and inform future investment decisions.
• Build and maintain event playbooks, run-of-show documents, and operational checklists to help the team get sharper with every event.

Senior Events Manager

• Review and analyze complex customer contracts to evaluate and formally document revenue accounting treatment (based on the five-step model) according to ASC 606 and company’s revenue policies
• Partner with Sales and Deal Desk to provide revenue guidance on ASC 606 to ensure appropriate identification of performance obligations and impacting terms, and coordinate with Operations and Professional Services to ensure the timely and accurate recognition of revenue
• Drive the timely and accurate completion of month-end and quarter-end financial closes under tight deadlines, ensuring seamless communication and coordination with Accounting, Financial Reporting, FP&A
• Support FP&A in the analysis of revenue performance against plan, and assist with the preparation of required ASC 606 financial statement disclosures and responses to external auditor inquiries
• Participate and assist the leaders in the revenue accounting team to streamline existing manual revenue processes, enhance efficiency, facilitate standardization, and improve the effectiveness of the monthly and quarterly revenue close cycle
• Contribute to ASC 606 compliance by assisting with annual assessments of Material Rights and Standalone Selling Price (SSP), and provide critical, time-sensitive ad-hoc financial analysis to support executive leadership and FP&A function
