Design end-to-end AI solutions, from prototyping through production, emphasizing scalability, reliability, and ethical safeguards.
Partner across engineering, product, and operations to identify opportunities where AI-native approaches create outsized leverage.
Drive experimentation with emerging AI toolchains (e.g., Gemini, GPT, Claude, open-source agents) and guide adoption.
Shape reference architectures and reusable frameworks that accelerate product teams and ensure quality across Komodo’s AI ecosystem.
Lead cross-functional knowledge sharing through playbooks, workshops, and technical mentorship.
Ensure robust observability, governance, and explainability mechanisms for AI features deployed at scale.
Deliver high-impact AI systems that scale from prototype to production and create measurable business and healthcare outcomes.
Act as a multiplier by mentoring engineers, leading workshops, and unblocking complex AI design challenges.
Drive build-vs-buy evaluations for core AI platforms and influence Komodo’s data strategy with an AI-first lens.
Requirements
Proven track record of delivering AI systems that transition from research prototypes into scalable, production-ready products.
Strong technical leadership in generative AI, LLMs, orchestration frameworks, multi-agent systems, and responsible AI practices.
Fluency in Python and experience with modern GenAI toolchains (e.g., vLLM, Crew AI, Strands, LangChain, Chat Completions API).
Full-stack engineering proficiency (front-end frameworks like React/Vue; back-end systems like FastAPI, Django, or Flask) with an ability to ship complete AI-powered features.
Experience setting company-wide standards in AI development, governance, and MLOps (CI/CD for AI, versioning, monitoring).
Excellent collaboration and communication skills to influence both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or equivalent professional experience with demonstrable impact.
Expectation to automate own workflows and drive adoption of internal AI agent platforms.
Expectation to mentor others on prompt engineering, orchestration, and ethical AI practices.
Expectation to ensure explainability, governance, and bias mitigation are embedded into every solution.
