About the role

Review purchase orders, drawings, and specification requirements; negotiate customer requirements and translate requirements to operations
Maintain compliance of products to customer and specification requirements
Maintenance and improvement of Quality Management System and related software systems
Work with Operations, Engineering, and Sales to support customer needs and product throughput
Interact directly with customers and suppliers
Develop, maintain and implement quality procedures and work instructions in compliance to customer and specification requirements
Conduct audits to assure compliance to quality system, processes and schedules
Ensure customer verification and acceptance completed (FAI, PPAP or pre-production requirements)
Position reports to the Quality Manager at an investment casting foundry producing aerospace and defense parts

Bachelor's degree in engineering, quality management, statistics or related course of study
5+ years of manufacturing quality experience
Experience with ISO9000 / AS9100 or other high compliance standards (defense, aerospace or similar)
Experience with auditing, including internal and supplier audits, and complying with customer audits
Must be a US Citizen
Any experience with investment casting, metal manufacturing & machining, heat treating, or non-destructive testing (NDT) is desired
Experience with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, PPAP, FMEA or root cause analysis is helpful
