Build, scale, and maintain enterprise-grade e-commerce experiences using modern Shopify Plus capabilities
Help set engineering standards through thoughtful PR reviews, supportive feedback, and team-based problem solving
Own scalable and automated release pipelines
Work with Checkout Extensibility, Shopify Functions, Shopify Markets, metaobjects, automation, ensuring performance, stability, and operational excellence
Collaborate closely with the team in the Toronto office three days a week

Requirements

Experience developing, customizing, and maintaining Shopify Plus themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript (ES6+)
Experience with TypeScript, Rust, or React is a plus
Strong knowledge of accessibility (WCAG), enterprise SEO, and experimentation or A/B testing
Hands-on experience with Checkout Extensibility, including app-based UI extensions and supported APIs
Experience building advanced commerce logic using Shopify Functions
Solid understanding of GitHub workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and automated deployment processes
Experience supporting multi-store and multi-market implementations using Shopify Markets
Proven experience designing scalable data models using metaobjects and advanced metafields
Ability to own features end-to-end from development through QA, release, and post-deployment monitoring
Working knowledge of secure development practices
Experience supporting high-traffic, revenue-critical Shopify Plus storefronts
