Solutions Engineer

• The role owns the delivery of the technical sale of the Kneat Gx solution.
• Being an SME in both the Kneat Gx Software and the Validation Industry to effectively present the value of the solution.
• Working closely with the sales and marketing teams on leads and opportunities with customers.
• Providing technical support to the sales team or directly to the customer, to ensure the customer fully understands the value and benefit of the Kneat Gx solution.
• Owning the delivery of the technical input to the sales process, ensuring value is demonstrated effectively and efficiently.
• Liaising effectively with the sales team, to ensure that the correct technical information is being shared with the customer.
• Overview and maintenance of demos, trial and workshop databases, product information, etc.
• Being a Subject Matter Expert for Kneat products and technology, and its applied use in industry.
• Being a Subject Matter Expert in Validation Processes within the Pharmaceutical and Medical Device Industries.
• Working closely with the Contract Manager to ensure Proposals, RFP’s and Questionnaires have correct technical and scope information.
• Liaising with the Kneat Professional Services Team, Account Managers (where applicable) and the Process Engineering Team, requesting support and resources where needed and collaborating on developments with existing customers.
• Ensuring the success of customer workshops and pilots through effective process mapping and training.
• Ensuring the solution sold to the customer is technically sound and assisting with the handover process to the project team.

• Deliver front end features and enhancements in line with agreed sprint commitments.
• Produce maintainable, readable, and well tested code, including unit and integration tests.
• Take ownership of assigned work items, escalating issues or risks appropriately.
• Design, develop, and maintain UI components using React, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Implement responsive, accessible, and performant interfaces aligned with Kneat UX standards.
• Integrate front-end functionality with backend services, managing client-side state, loading, and error handling.
• Write and maintain automated tests for components, hooks, and user flows.

• Participate in Sprint planning and Example Mapping sessions, review use cases and provide testing solutions and estimates
• Liaise with the Senior Test Engineer
• Generate test plans, test cases, and support the development of test strategies
• Communicate with various stakeholders to understand system level requirements for the design and creation of test coverage; ensuring that the software is working to these standards

Accountant

• Producing accurate, timely, meaningful financial information for the Group in compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (“IFRS”) and Canadian legal and regulatory requirements.
• Analysis of revenue contracts, preparing financial information and accounting for revenue in compliance with IFRS.
• Preparation of accurate quarterly & annual Group Financial Statements (under IFRS) and related documents for publication in accordance with Canadian and TSX requirements.
• Analyse and report quarterly revenue results - research and assessment of appropriate IFRS 15 accounting treatment for sales contracts to ensure the accuracy of revenue reporting.
• Research and analysis of complex accounting issues and preparation of accounting memos, and the assessment and implementation of any new IFRS standards.
• Lead quarterly and annual external audit process - manage relationships with the company auditors, ensure completion of clean and timely audits, and prepare for and attend Audit Committee meetings as required.
• Support the interim and final internal audits.
• Statutory financial statements for the Irish legal entity.
• Ensure ongoing compliance with TSX stock exchange and Canadian public company rules, regulations and statutory requirements.
• Timely preparation of month end accounting for area of responsibility and any related management reporting.
• Develop and maintain internal controls to the standard required under the Canadian equivalent of SOX, to account for revenue from customer contracts on an accurate and timely basis, and ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Support AR and the contracts team to ensure accurate and timely invoicing on an ongoing basis and identification of contracts that are coming up for renewal.
• Work with our business partners and legal counsel on contract review and revision where finance input is required.
• Support preparation for the (public company) AGM as required.
• Support periodic company funding activities.
• Assist / provide input for the preparation of budgets and forecasts as required.
• Leadership – support the development of the revenue/reporting and accounts receivable function, drive the culture of continuous improvement within the finance department and take responsibility for projects as required.
• Regular interaction and communication with commercial and operations teams to ensure accuracy of financial records.
