About the role
- Support research and development within KLA's Global Products Group (GPG) and EBeam team
- Collaborate with teams of physicists, engineers, data scientists and problem-solvers to develop metrology and inspection products
- Contribute to imaging and classification data analysis for defects and wafer inspection
- Participate in data analytics, statistics, and problem-solving tasks using scripting languages (Python, MATLAB)
- Opportunity to write a Bachelor or Master thesis with mentorship and access to advanced tools
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Signal Processing, or a related field
- Strong interest in complex high-end technology systems
- Passion for data analytics, statistics, and problem-solving
- Experience with at least one scripting language (e.g., Python, MATLAB)
- Excellent analytical and communication skills
- Nice to have: Background in semiconductor technologies
- Minimum on-site presence of 3 days per week at our office is required
