About the role
- The Exploration Company developing Nyx, a modular and reusable orbital vehicle capable of carrying cargo and potentially humans
- Conceptualize new technologies and products and characterize stakeholders and use cases
- Translate needs into system architectures and break them down into functional, specification and product trees
- Define and manage system-level requirements and interfaces and ensure flow-down consistency
- Perform system-level trade-offs and technical investigations and support cross-functional engineering teams
- Support commercial and program teams writing and negotiating proposals for Future Projects
- Contribute to development planning, coordinate specialist engineers, maintain technical budgets (mass, power, etc.)
- Organize and support technical reviews, co-engineering sessions, and RIDs/datapack delivery with customers
Requirements
- Advanced degree (MSc) in aerospace engineering, systems engineering, or another related field.
- 3+ years of experience in the aerospace industry, preferably in a launch system program
- Experience in early development phase (Phase 0/A/B) project work and systems engineering
- Good knowledge in programming (Python, Fortran, Matlab...)
- Fluent in English; German, French and Italian is an asset
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong analysis and problem-solving skills
- Strong organizing and prioritization of tasks
- Positive and flexible attitude to get the job done
- Ability to communicate at all levels of the business
