About the role
- Manage and grow a defined portfolio of accounts across the DACH region, setting and achieving agreed objectives.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities to increase sales and market penetration.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure accurate forecasting and reliable collaboration.
- Work with internal teams to resolve service issues and continuously improve processes.
- Contribute to effective collaboration across the business and foster strong internal and external partnerships.
- Use commercial tools and systems (Salesforce, NPPI, NOC) to manage accounts effectively.
- Lead and support nominated projects, including market data analysis.
- Take ownership of key accounts and drive strategic initiatives contributing to commercial success.
Requirements
- Proven sales experience in the packaging sector.
- Strong numerical, analytical and problem-solving ability.
- Commercial acumen with the ability to make sound business decisions in complex situations.
- Project management skills and the ability to influence across functions in a matrix environment.
- Fluent in German and English; an additional language is an advantage.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Organised, detail-oriented, and confident with data management.
- Proficient in CRM tools (preferably Salesforce), MS Office, and related IT systems.
- Degree-level education (or equivalent professional experience).
