Own technical discovery and solution design for school districts and partners, from initial conversations through implementation.
Translate ambiguous customer needs into clear technical architectures, integration plans, and deployment strategies.
Design scalable solutions that integrate with district systems (e.g., LMS, SIS, rostering tools).
Work across the stack: APIs, data pipelines, backend systems, and product workflows.
Partner closely with sales and customer success to support pilots, POCs, and full deployments.
Collaborate with engineering to scope work, unblock implementations, and ensure high-quality delivery.
Create clear technical documentation, including integration guides, architecture diagrams, and implementation playbooks.
Troubleshoot complex technical issues and serve as a trusted advisor to customers.
Drive repeatable processes and best practices for scaling implementations across districts.
Maintain high quality while moving quickly in a fast-paced startup environment.

Requirements

5–8+ years of experience in Solutions Architecture, Sales Engineering, or Technical Consulting (SaaS or EdTech preferred).
Strong technical fluency: comfortable discussing APIs, system architecture, data flows, and integration patterns.
Experience working with REST APIs, data pipelines, and cloud-based systems.
Proficiency in Python or similar language for scripting, debugging, or prototyping.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate ambiguity and design practical solutions.
Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders (e.g., educators, administrators).
Experience integrating with LMS/SIS platforms (e.g., Canvas, Clever, ClassLink) is a strong plus.
Familiarity with AI/ML concepts or experience working with AI-driven products is a plus.
