About the role

  • Manage maintenance activities across various properties, ensuring that all facilities are well-maintained and aligned with safety regulations.
  • Develop and lead regional budgets, ensuring that maintenance costs are controlled, so they correspond to financial targets.
  • Supervise and train maintenance staff, encouraging a collaborative environment and improving team capabilities through effective mentoring and development.
  • Establish and supervise preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of equipment and facilities.
  • Select and manage relationships with maintenance-related vendors and contractors, ensuring quality service delivery.
  • Conduct routine inspections and client meetings on properties to identify maintenance issues and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, prepare progress reports, and document maintenance logs.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field is helpful.
  • Must be willing to travel within the region to multiple customer sites
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in management (manager level).
  • High school diploma or equivalent experience with at least 3 years of customer service experience (supervisor level).
  • Technical knowledge and maintenance operations are required
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills for managing internal/external customers and technical personnel.
