Directs and coaches a staff of project management professionals to meet established goals and objectives for assigned projects.
Provides oversight on the project lifecycle, ensures all checkpoint reviews are timely and effectively performed.
Works closely with business partners to understand their business/project needs and allocates project managers accordingly.
Manages, oversees and improves established project delivery performance by reviewing metrics, lessons learned, and other reviews.
Responsible for effective Project Manager capacity plan, utilizing internal/ external project manager resources supporting an appropriate and relevant staffing model.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree (preferred) OR equivalent experience (required)
7+ years of increasingly complex project related experience (preferred)
3+ years of team management experience (preferred)
3+ years experience in financial services industry (preferred)
Project Management Professional (PMP) - PMI (preferred)
Knowledge and experience with standard project development/management methodologies and tools required.
Extensive experience with project planning; ability to utilize a variety of specific tools and techniques for planning, estimating, resourcing and scheduling IT projects.
