About the role
- System Oversight to Strategic projects: Design and optimize HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and other facility systems to ensure operational efficiency and reliability
- Maintenance & Repairs: Oversee preventive and reactive maintenance activities to Key projects, ensuring minimal downtime and prompt resolution of issues.
- Project Management: Lead facility-related construction, renovation, and upgrade projects from planning through execution, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure all facility operations comply with local, state, and federal health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Vendor & Contractor Coordination: Manage relationships with external contractors and service providers, ensuring quality and cost-effective delivery of specialized services.
- Space Planning & Improvements: Evaluate and implement facility layout changes to support evolving business needs and improve operational workflows.
- Energy Management: Develop and implement energy conservation initiatives and sustainability programs to reduce environmental impact and operating costs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Facilities Engineering (or related field); PE license preferred.
- 7+ years of experience in facility engineering or building systems management.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and building automation systems.
- Proven experience managing capital projects and vendor relationships.
- Familiarity with OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory standards.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
