About the role
- Define production working phase sequence to achieve targeted product cost and equipment investment costs
- Ensure appropriate production methods, cycle time, equipment performance, and materials/component flow to support production targets
- Identify and recommend production process improvements, define layout and tooling, and implement improvement projects
- Ensure production process compliance with project targets including quality and safety; approve designs and perform final tests
- Diagnose issues in production lines, identify corrective actions, resolve issues, and provide training to production teams as needed
- Support production during internal/external process and equipment start-up; define action plans and training for maintenance and production resources
- Evaluate process technologies (ERP/MES) to improve productivity, quality, and cost reduction; define and lead testing activities and external provider choices
- Prepare technical documentation regarding process phases, related methods, and cycle times
Requirements
- B.Sc. in Engineering (Production, Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical)
- Over 3 years of power electronics/final assembly industry experience
- Over 3 years of manufacturing experience and ability to identify process improvements
- Experience utilizing CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD)
- Proven track record of delivering results in projects
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative style
- Independent thinking and excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Initiative with a high collaborative culture and energy level
