Provide technical analysis integration of program management aspects such as engineering, procurement, financial management, environmental management, and configuration
Ensure program requirements and statements of work capture and are planned to the level of detail required for execution
Develop requirements, milestone documentation, and provide technical writing expertise for deliverables
Participate in an advisory role to conduct analysis, draft, and deliver source selection evaluation inputs
Serve as the person within HQ U.S. Air Force office of primary responsibility responsible for program documentation and harmonization with the budget
Provide recommendations to ensure project information integrates into existing program strategy
Employ integration, communication, coordination, organizational, and planning expertise across numerous functional disciplines
Perform program management activities: gather program information, conduct analyses, develop program strategies, milestone planning, tracking and scheduling, and establish/maintain databases
Provide expert guidance and recommendations shaping acquisition strategies for multiple program offices and senior staff
Develop comprehensive program documentation to support milestone decisions and acquisition strategies
Collaborate with stakeholders on several large-scale aircraft programs and support AFLCMC/WL initiatives
Requirements
BS/BA degree
25 years of experience in DoD/Air Force Acquisition
Minimum ten (10) years of experience as an ACAT I/II/III PM within the last 10 years
Active Top Secret security clearance required
Extensive experience in USAF weapon system management
Proven history in ACAT I/II/III Program Manager functions
Ability to provide strategic recommendations and tailor milestone requirements
Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and conflict resolution skills
Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications
Experience in writing and responding to Federal and DoD Requests for Proposals (desired)
Program Management Level II or III DAWIA certification (desired)
Knowledge of DoD 5000.02 and AFLCMC Policies, Processes, and Procedures (desired)
Willingness to travel ~20%, primarily to Dayton, OH
Working Hours: Standard 40hrs/wk.
