About the role
- Support the United States Space Force's (USSF) Satellite Control Network (SCN)
- Work directly with the Project Manager to ensure the project stays on schedule and meets contract objectives
- Work with engineers, resource managers, and customers to ensure resources are allocated efficiently and manage budgets
- Monitor projects to ensure work scope, schedule, and budget are well defined and maintained
- Provide coordination between project managers, resource managers/supervisors and ensure necessary finance reviews and approvals
- Monitor schedules and ensure project deliverables are completed on time
- Schedule meetings with the customer, capture action items, and record decisions
- Support the design, development, and integration of systems and subsystems with project managers/lead engineers and team members
- Monitor project progress, address potential issues, measure and report on project performance
- Develop and maintain presentation material for project reviews in Microsoft PowerPoint
- Perform other project management duties as assigned
Requirements
- Requires a college or university degree in Business or a related field
- Typically requires 4 to 7 years of relevant experience
- Ability to obtain a secret clearance
- Travel Requirements 10%
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Proficiency in analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint
- Experience coordinating with engineers, resource managers, and customers
- Experience managing budgets, resources, schedules, and project deliverables
- Ability to capture action items and record decisions
