💰 £75,000 - £90,000 per year
About the role
- Grow a portfolio of profitable work with assigned Defence maritime industry organisations
- Work with the Market Group Manager to develop strategies to grow the sector across consultancy and Ventures lines of business
- Work with capability, Delivery and Strategy functions to identify capability and capacity growth areas and develop potential new services
- Act as sales and business development lead, managing bids and client relationships
- Oversee business development planning and associated activities
- Develop and maintain close working relationships with a network of clients associated with the sector
- Identify, characterise and capture opportunities to deliver the business
- Work with resource managers to identify, secure and maintain required skills and experience
Requirements
- Market knowledge of the sector, holding key relationships across the client base, supply chain and knowledge of our competitors
- Significant commercial experience and business acumen having secured and led large scale commercial contracts for numerous clients within the sector client base
- Experience creating supply chains with a diverse set of subcontractors
- A highly effective communicator able to operate right across the business in support of whole company strategy
- Willingness/ability to undergo pre-employment screening and satisfy UK National Security Vetting clearance criteria
