About the role

  • Provide leadership and direction to all levels of food service personnel, including administrative and warehouse staff.
  • Ensure effective planning, organization, and management of all aspects of food service in military dining facilities.
  • Efficiently allocate resources to achieve the highest standards of service, meeting or exceeding client specifications.
  • Monitor food service standards and processes.
  • Manage budgetary constraints.
  • Complete relevant documentation meticulously.
  • Implement and evaluate training programs.
  • Ensure strict compliance with client and company health and safety regulations.
  • Plan and oversee the execution of special functions.
  • Evaluate and hire the right caliber of food service staff.
  • Order rations in Military automated systems such as Stores and AFMIS.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Requires minimum 10+ years of documented military food service experience.
  • Requires 5+ years previous recent experience in successfully managing all facets of food service and dining facility management.
  • Ability to pass a Military Background Check for access to military installations.
  • Authorization to work in the U.S.
  • Valid Real ID driver’s license.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain food service medical clearance.
