About the role
- Provide leadership and direction to all levels of food service personnel, including administrative and warehouse staff.
- Ensure effective planning, organization, and management of all aspects of food service in military dining facilities.
- Efficiently allocate resources to achieve the highest standards of service, meeting or exceeding client specifications.
- Monitor food service standards and processes.
- Manage budgetary constraints.
- Complete relevant documentation meticulously.
- Implement and evaluate training programs.
- Ensure strict compliance with client and company health and safety regulations.
- Plan and oversee the execution of special functions.
- Evaluate and hire the right caliber of food service staff.
- Order rations in Military automated systems such as Stores and AFMIS.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Requires minimum 10+ years of documented military food service experience.
- Requires 5+ years previous recent experience in successfully managing all facets of food service and dining facility management.
- Ability to pass a Military Background Check for access to military installations.
- Authorization to work in the U.S.
- Valid Real ID driver’s license.
- Ability to obtain and maintain food service medical clearance.
