About the role
- Serve as front-end Business Development customer focused lead within KBR’s BD organization focused on Federal Civilian Agency mission and technology programs
- Build relationships with government, create focused pipeline, and win new business
- Drive large, prime single award opportunities and top pursuits ranging from $50M to $1 billion
- Engage customers, shape procurements, design strategies, develop capture plans, and ensure voice of the customer throughout capture
- Lead BD activities: pipeline development, opportunity qualification, capture planning, customer meetings, milestone reviews, black hat sessions, solution sessions, and proposal support
- Lead development and submission of white papers, RFI responses, and other customer engagement activities
- Brief pipeline and opportunity status to senior management
- Travel to KBR facilities and customer locations as required
Requirements
- Minimum 15 years of experience with demonstrated success in business development and capture of contracts valued greater than $200M
- Bachelor’s degree
- Demonstrated ability to work with senior business and government leaders and to provide leadership within the workplace
- Pre-existing knowledge and relationships with federal civilian agencies with a proven track records of winning single award programs as a prime
- Proven success in the following discipline(s) within Fed Civ: Business development, opportunity identification and qualification, account planning and strategic planning capability
- Demonstrated leadership skills in services-centric organizations to develop, organize and execute significant BD activities
- Proven track record of winning new business single award contracts in Federal Civilian Agencies as a prime with contract values over $200M
