About the role
- Create and publish 1–3 high-quality full YouTube videos per week (tutorials, news, and edutainment)
- Own the full production process: ideation, scripting, filming, editing, and publishing
- Serve as an on-camera host, representing Kapwing to a global audience
- Optimize videos for growth through titles, thumbnails, SEO, and retention strategies
- Collaborate with the content team and CEO on content strategy, series, and lead creator interviews
- Identify and capitalize on viral trends, formats, and new video storytelling opportunities
- Repurpose content across platforms (TikTok, Instagram, landing pages)
- Become a Kapwing product expert, collaborating with product managers to ensure our product remains best in class
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience creating and editing YouTube content
- Experience appearing on camera in video content
- Strong understanding of YouTube content formats and audience behavior
- Experience writing high-performing titles and designing thumbnails
- Passion for AI tools like ChatGPT, Premiere, and Kapwing
- Familiarity with YouTube Studio analytics
- Experience working at a tech company (desired)
