About the role

  • Own and grow a portfolio of school districts, becoming their trusted partner and advisor
  • Drive the full sales cycle: prospecting, discovery, solutioning, demos, negotiation, and closing
  • Identify high-impact opportunities and craft strategies to exceed ambitious revenue targets
  • Act as a thought leader, sharing industry insights, best practices, and actionable strategies that help districts succeed
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Client Success, and Product to ensure seamless onboarding and long-term client satisfaction
  • Represent K12 Insight at conferences, trade shows, and education events — expanding your network and influence

Requirements

  • Proven consultative sales experience, ideally in EdTech or complex B2B environments
  • Track record of exceeding quotas and managing multi-stakeholder, high-value deals
  • Exceptional relationship-building and communication skills
  • Able to influence senior executives and district leaders
  • Coachable, ambitious, self-directed, and adaptable
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Legally authorized to work in the US (application asks "Are you legally authorized to work in the US?")
  • May require travel (~30% across U.S.)
