About the role
- Own and grow a portfolio of school districts, becoming their trusted partner and advisor
- Drive the full sales cycle: prospecting, discovery, solutioning, demos, negotiation, and closing
- Identify high-impact opportunities and craft strategies to exceed ambitious revenue targets
- Act as a thought leader, sharing industry insights, best practices, and actionable strategies that help districts succeed
- Collaborate with Marketing, Client Success, and Product to ensure seamless onboarding and long-term client satisfaction
- Represent K12 Insight at conferences, trade shows, and education events — expanding your network and influence
Requirements
- Proven consultative sales experience, ideally in EdTech or complex B2B environments
- Track record of exceeding quotas and managing multi-stakeholder, high-value deals
- Exceptional relationship-building and communication skills
- Able to influence senior executives and district leaders
- Coachable, ambitious, self-directed, and adaptable
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Legally authorized to work in the US (application asks "Are you legally authorized to work in the US?")
- May require travel (~30% across U.S.)
