About the role
- Build and own the strategy, design, and execution of employee benefits programs across all international markets for our Employer of Record (EOR) business.
- Define and implement a multi-country benefits strategy that delivers competitive, compliant offerings around the world.
- Manage vendor and partner relationships end to end, and seamlessly integrate benefits into our global operations and in-app experience.
- Build, lead, and motivate a distributed team of regional benefits experts.
- Collaborate with Product, Operations, Customer Success, and Sales to define and scale a portfolio of benefits.
- Balance a top-down, scaled global approach with local relevance.
- Lead a high-performing global team while partnering closely with US Risk & Insurance team.
Requirements
- 8-10+ years of experience managing, building and operating a substantial global business, product line or function with at least 3+ years of experience and deep knowledge within global benefits, global insurance, global employment or EOR across multiple geographies
- Demonstrated ability to build from the ground up, operate with autonomy, and thrive in highly complex, global ambiguous environments.
- Exceptional commercial and operational instincts; ability to design scalable systems, navigate partnerships, evaluate tradeoffs; strong vendor and partner management
- Strong negotiation skills with partners; experience running global RFPs and renewals.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across diverse cultures and levels.
- Analytical fluency with benefits cost modeling, vendor performance metrics, and ROI analysis.
- Track record of leading distributed teams and scaling processes internationally.
- Fluency in multiple language and/or experience living in and doing business in multiple countries is a plus.
- Experience leveraging AI and automation to benefit operations and processes
- Comfort operating in a fast-paced, high-growth tech or HR services environment.
