About the role

  • Lead new customer acquisition to grow Jumio’s pipeline, revenue, and market share in biometric identity verification
  • Identify and progress opportunities, manage the sales cycle, and negotiate contracts to commence long-term enterprise partnerships
  • Sell biometric identity verification solutions (liveness detection, face match, document verification) across industries such as Sharing Economy, Gaming, Fintech, Banking
  • Identify and develop opportunities with successful pipeline and process management through to deal completion
  • Market mapping and researching prospects, their business needs and drivers; build relationships across target customers
  • Network and attend/manage events and conferences
  • Articulate Jumio’s biometric offerings, competitive products, pricing, and proposal models
  • Close deals and take market share from competitors
  • Develop contacts through calls, emails, meetings, and conferences
  • Conduct effective discovery to deliver biometric solution presentations and demonstrations
  • Maintain accurate records of all sales activities to maintain and develop the sales pipeline
  • Develop lasting, positive relationships with clients to secure referrals and testimonials
  • Work collaboratively with pre-sales, marketing, and account management to provide outstanding customer experience

Requirements

  • Experience selling biometric identity solutions is required
  • Knowledge of the ID verification, AML, or KYC market
  • A track record of building relationships across Enterprise Accounts at the C-Level—achieving sales quotas of $1–2M+ per year
  • 5+ years of experience selling value-add software solutions to new customers
  • Excellent ability to identify and articulate value to customers through written and verbal communication
  • Strong prospecting skills and experience prioritizing potential clients
  • Proven negotiation and closing skills
  • Forecasting, financial planning, and strategy skills
  • Proficiency in CRM—SFDC preferable
  • Established network of contacts in regional enterprise customers (great to have)
  • Competitor product awareness and insight (great to have)
  • Degree educated is preferred, not essential
  • Proven experience managing deal sizes ranging from $150K+ (great to have)
  • Comfortable with sales cycles of between 3–9 months (great to have)
