About the role
- Preparation of monthly financial statements and ongoing posting of business transactions
- Ensuring proper balance-sheet accounting including profit and loss statements (P&L) and preparing closing documents for external audits
- Reconciliation of balance sheet and clearing accounts
- Collaboration on special projects and on the development and optimization of existing accounting processes
- Point of contact for internal departments and external partners on balance-sheet and accounting-related matters
Requirements
- Several years of professional experience in accounting and a completed relevant qualification
- Solid knowledge of accounting under the Austrian Commercial Code (UGB) and Austrian tax law
- Knowledge of the German Commercial Code (HGB) and group/consolidated accounting is an advantage
- Very good IT skills (MS Office, Excel); ideally you already have experience with BMD NTCS
- Strong numerical aptitude, assertiveness, and a structured working style
