Provide technical and scientific interpretation of global regulatory requirements
Collaborate with cross‑functional partners across SRA and JTI R&D
Conduct regulatory compliance assessments for new ingredients and materials
Ensure worldwide regulatory compliance of ingredients and materials
Maintain accurate and complete ingredient‑related data in the SRA Secure Database
Identify supplier‑related risks and provide technical guidance
Support hazard identification and risk assessment activities
Collaborate with Agile Testing and packaging team for material testing
Scientifically assess reports generated by internal and external laboratories
Hold responsibility for material qualification activities

Requirements

University degree in a technical or scientific discipline; Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, or Toxicology preferred
Minimum 5 years of professional experience in scientific and regulatory affairs, preferably within material and ingredient assessment
Strong expertise in material and product testing, including smoke/vapour analysis
In‑depth knowledge of global regulations related to tobacco products
Solid understanding of manufacturing processes
Strong proficiency in MS Office and SAP; experience with SQL databases is an advantage
Fluency in English; additional language skills are an asset
