About the role
- identifies, evaluates, develops and closes new customers
- expands business at existing customers
- interacts with corporate contacts
- negotiates and successfully closes contracts for KBI services with Biopharmaceutical clients
- assists VP of Business Development with activities as directed
- manages existing client relationships
- coordinates client visits and technical presentations
- maintains and updates CRM with opportunities status
Requirements
- Technical Bachelor’s degree (science preferred)
- minimum of 9 years’ experience in business development in a life science industry
- track record of success in technical business development
- experienced in business development fundamentals
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills required
- ability to build positive internal and external working relationships
- familiarity with biopharmaceutical manufacturing and regulatory requirements
