About the role

  • identifies, evaluates, develops and closes new customers
  • expands business at existing customers
  • interacts with corporate contacts
  • negotiates and successfully closes contracts for KBI services with Biopharmaceutical clients
  • assists VP of Business Development with activities as directed
  • manages existing client relationships
  • coordinates client visits and technical presentations
  • maintains and updates CRM with opportunities status

Requirements

  • Technical Bachelor’s degree (science preferred)
  • minimum of 9 years’ experience in business development in a life science industry
  • track record of success in technical business development
  • experienced in business development fundamentals
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills required
  • ability to build positive internal and external working relationships
  • familiarity with biopharmaceutical manufacturing and regulatory requirements
