About the role
- Review and develop construction cost budgets for feasibility Studies, Preliminary, Schematic, Design documents & Construction document budgets in support of a variety of construction projects for office renovation
- Compare budget costs to benchmark pricing information, analyze quantities and scope items as well as assist in value engineering
- Create and execute contracts base on full scope projects
- Compile project unit pricing and labor rates from contractors and ensure the contractors abide the rates throughout the project duration
- Enhance overall cost controls service delivery by increasing efficiency and improving processes
- Support in developing and maintaining customers historical cost benchmark for various project types
- Prioritize requests to meet or exceed the customers’ expectations
- Support Project regent Board development
- Help to develop Sustainment Planning in conjunction with IFM team and Client
- Perform all PWMeb Functions: Estimating, Funding submissions (Payment apps), CR, Project Close outs, updating budgeting, update contracts
- Actively support an environment of teamwork, cooperation, performance excellence and personal success
- Act as an interface with PMO, Engineers, MAC Team, and client’s Cost Control weekly meeting/ bi-weekly meeting to track review cost budgets with client
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in Accounting, Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Cost Management and understanding of CSI trade costs
- Experience in Construction Management or Real Estate, preferred
- Ability to regularly communicate analyzed data to client and team to achieve project goals
- Strong working knowledge of architectural & Engineering drawings, furniture, and space planning concepts
- Highly organized with strong analytical skills
- Demonstrated ability to support Business Development initiatives as assigned or requested
- Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to interact with the customer’s executives, JLL executives.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and Project software (i.e., RS Means, Onscreen Center, OneDrive, SharPoint, PMWeb)
