About the role
- Lead the end-to-end M&A transaction process from evaluation through closing
- Manage and coordinate due diligence across functional areas including legal, financial, tax, HR, and operations
- Build, lead, and develop the M&A execution team across the group, including direct people management, performance accountability, and long-term capability building
- Build financial models, develop investment memos, and provide recommendations to the executive team
- Lead negotiations on key transaction terms, working closely with legal counsel and internal stakeholders
- Partner with the Portfolio CEOs to assess strategic fit, deal rationale, and integration risks
- Maintain and continuously improve deal execution frameworks, tools, templates, and processes
- Track progress of active transactions and prepare regular reporting for executive leadership
- Work cross-functionally with internal departments and external advisors to ensure seamless execution
- Support post-close handoff to integration teams and ensure a strong close-to-transition process
- Lead special projects and strategic analyses related to acquisitions as needed
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in M&A execution, investment banking, private equity, or corporate development
- Proven ability to manage complex deal processes and multiple transactions simultaneously
- Strong financial modeling, valuation, and deal structuring expertise
- Excellent negotiation, project management, and stakeholder management skills
- High level of accountability, attention to detail, and strategic judgment
- Experience in software or vertical market technology is strongly preferred
- Must be willing to travel internationally as required.
