About the role

  • Act as a trusted partner to leaders across the Pallas Portfolio, providing proactive, solution‑focused HR support
  • Coach and advise managers on all aspects of people management, including performance, capability, absence, disciplinary, grievance, restructuring, and succession planning
  • Support the development and implementation of HR strategies that enhance organisational performance and employee engagement
  • Oversee the full employee lifecycle, ensuring consistent, compliant processes across UK and European business units
  • Maintain accurate HR data, personnel files, and HRIS records, producing monthly/quarterly HR metrics as required
  • Support recruitment activity, including drafting job descriptions, liaising with agencies, screening candidates, interviewing, and managing offers
  • Provide HR support for acquisition activity from due diligence through to onboarding and integration
  • Apply knowledge of German employment practices to support managers and employees in DACH-region businesses.

Requirements

  • Proven HR generalist or HRBP experience within multi‑entity or international environments
  • Demonstrable experience supporting businesses in the DACH region, particularly Germany, with understanding of local employment norms
  • Strong ER experience with the ability to coach managers through complex cases
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities across multiple business units
  • Confident communicator with the ability to build trust and influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Proactive, solution‑driven mindset aligned with the Pallas HR strategy.
